1998 – 2004: Journalist

Editor and Bayern Munich reporter of Europe’s biggest sports news agency Sport-Informations-Dienst (SID), a subsidiary of Agence France Press (AFP). Previously studied at the German School of Journalism (DJS) and the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich (Diploma in Journalism/Communication Science, Politics, Sociology). First journalistic beginnings at the Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung and numerous internships, including in the German Parliament (“Deutscher Bundestag”).

2004 – 2022: Executive Vice President of Communications and Marketing

Member of the Management Board of the German Football League DFL (EVP of Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs) and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the DFL Foundation. Global growth strategy of the Bundesliga: "Football as it's meant to be". Positioning of the DFL as an international sports and media company with numerous subsidiaries and branches in New York, Beijing and Singapore.

2022 – present: Consultant

Managing Partner at GAULY, a leading German management consultancy for strategy and communication. Cross-industry consulting in special situations such as crises, reputation building and positioning as well as public affairs. Self-employed since 2024.
